Norge på langs as Norwegians say
Turen startet den 31st of May
We've traveled by train, plane, ferry and car
But mostly our own horsepower has propelled us thus far
Opp mountains, langs fjords, over hill and dale
Dagbok historier make quite the tale
Two months har vi to complete our quest
So along the way we skal fest
Not så mye with øl as it is gankse dyrt
but with new friends, clean air, and bol som er fyrt
We eat brodskiver, with syltetøy, cheese and toppings
Getting a box from sponsors was like Christmas stockings
Matlaging is a bit of a task
But we don't mind eating what others might cast
Tent sights commonly have vann ved siden
We stay overnight with folk når de har nok tiden
Not just a north-south crossing, but east-west as well
Vi har ikke syklet thru a town called Hell
Etter 5000 kilometers we are litt trott
But without skader, not even a fot
We sing, chat, quiz and talk to stay sane
And we’ve been super heldig to gå glipp av regn
Now to go back to vanlig liv
Posten still has a package we hope to retrieve
After such a trip, what can one say?
But tusen hjertlig takk to alle på vei
We hadde a wonderful tur
Caitlin melked som kuer
There are minner to share and some fanfare
We’ll have to see when we come back for mer!
